World of Chess - Robert Fischer, 14-year-old U.S. Open chess champion, shared first prize with runner-up Arthur Bisguier. The two players drew in the scoring but Fischer won the tie-break. The prodigy has been extravagantly publicized as the best hope of an American world champion.
